Privacy Policy
ergon is built on a simple principle: your data belongs to you.
What We Collect
Nothing. ergon does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All journal entries, settings, and app data remain on your device.
No Accounts
ergon does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app.
No Analytics
We do not use any analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or third-party services that monitor your behavior. We do not know how you use the app, how often you open it, or what you write.
No Advertising
ergon contains no advertisements and no advertising SDKs. We do not share data with advertisers because we have no data to share.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. ELS Innovations LLC does not process payments directly and does not have access to your payment information.
When you make a purchase and select a charity for the 10% donation, your charity selection is sent to our server along with the transaction ID provided by Apple. No personal information is included in this request.
Data Storage
All app data is stored locally on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage. If you delete the app, your data is deleted. We cannot recover it because we never had it.
Third-Party Services
ergon does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data. The only external communication is:
- Apple's App Store (for purchase processing)
- Our donation tracking server (receives only transaction ID and charity selection — no personal data)
Children's Privacy
ergon does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever change this policy, we will update this page and note the effective date. Given our architecture — no data collection, no accounts, no analytics — we do not anticipate material changes.
